A live improvisation, performed and recorded 01.01.2022

After making this piece and listening back, we found it captured a certain mood that is endemic to the dark winter season here in northern New England. It's the simultaneous experiences of contemplative isolation and being surrounded by absolute natural beauty; of sitting inside while looking out on the frozen world, and settling into that spaciousness.
